Today I received my new keyboard Lenovo 0B47202 ThinkPad Compact USB Keyboard. When you are looking for images of exactly this keyboard, you you only find images of the english layout, not the german one! Well, I have not found at least one image… That’s why I made some photos, perhaps someone needs them for product presentation or something similar, or only wants to see how the german layout looks like!
I have written a script for running Atlassian Bitbucket Server Backup Client as a Windows task on my server. There are two main reasons/features why I created that script and why I want to share it.

The problem was that I have to copy a special event from one html element to another – in my case I only wanted the
change event to be copied. I found some posts how to copy events, but the solutions did not work
perfectly, so I had to merge the solutions presented in
this thread.
Today, I installed the new version of Atlassian Stash, Version 3.0.5. Further versions were provides as archive which had to be extracted and configured manually. A new »feature« is the easy-to-use installer, which is – in my opinion – more user-friendly and faster to use than the archive before.
Ich hatte neulich das Problem, dass ich meine Meyton Workstation mit dem Internet verbinden wollte. Dazu habe ich Yast gestartet, die Netzwerkeinstellungen geöffnet und dort mein WLAN-Modul konfiguriert. Sofort hatte das Notebook eine Verbindung zum Router, aber ich konnte keine Websiten öffnen. Obwohl ich auf DHCP setze wurde kein DNS-Server eingetragen und somit hat die Namensauflösung nicht funktioniert. Allerdings konnte ich ohne Probleme IP-Adresse aus dem Internet anpingen. Wie also habe ich dann die Verbindung hergestellt?
Es kann sein, dass nach der Installation des DisplayManagers, dieser nicht startet. Nach einem Doppelklick auf den Eintrag im Kontrollzentrum geschieht nichts. Dies liegt sehr wahrscheinlich daran, dass der Grafiktreiber nicht korret funktioniert oder openSUSE auf den VESA-Modus umgestellt hat und so diverse Funktionalitäten fehlen, auf die die DisplayManager-Software angewiesen ist.
Setzt man auf openSUSE 13.1 und will man bei der aktuellen Meyton-Software, Version 4.3.5, Stand 14.06.2014, den DisplayManager installieren, so schlägt dies leider fehl, da die Software abhängig von einer anderen ist. Das Setup, wie hier beschrieben, bemängelt, dass das Paket xorg-x11 nicht vorhanden sei und daher die Installation nicht ausüfhren kann.
Da ich recht aktiv im Bereich Schießsport bin und mich sehr für elektronische Schießstände – im Speziellen die Anlagen der Firma Meyton – interessiere, habe ich mir überlegt eine Serie neuer Artikel »ins Leben zu rufen«. Wohin genau der Weg führen wird, weiß ich noch nicht, aber es wird wahrscheinlich vor allem um Problemlösungen zu technischen Themen gehen, bedingt durch die Verschmelzung meiner beiden großen Hobbies.
Oh my lovely firefox… Today I had to restart my computer because of important Windows updates. So I closed every application, including four Firefox windows, in mind, that Firefox restores every single window. The problem is, that this browser only saves 3 windows per default, not more! So be careful with how many windows you work, respectively how many windows you want Firefox to restore!
I have to admin that I have not tested the Bluetooth device with my former Windows 7 installations on the Inspirons 17 3737, so I thought that the WLAN problem was the only one – that was false conclusion. The problem with the Bluetooth device was, that smartphones or other notebooks could perhaps find the Dell Inspiron 17 3737 (or even could not find it!), but paring was impossible!
